Any Windows® compatible printer with up-to-date Windows® drivers will print. Keep your printer drivers up to date for your printer and operating system.

Any removable hardware like CD/DVD, flash drives or external hard disks are good for backup. Anything you are not prepared to lose should be backed up often.  Use the Backup feature in Force5 to protect you surveys and templates.

Although a regular word processor would allow you to create a generic report outline, you still have the chore of retyping items specific to the vessel you are surveying. Force 5 has an integrated spell checker, with on the fly correction options just like MS Word.  It ships with the both the English US dictionary or the British English dictionary user selectable, others are available.  Check with us for information.

 Force 5 comes with a built in Pre-purchase survey format. Optional Re-insurance, Commercial/Fishing Vessel and Damage/Claims templates are available at a nominal fee. You may also modify existing templates to suit your needs or even design your own.

Yes, the program has all the information for both powerboats and sailboats. However, when setting up for a new marine survey, if you do not require Sails and Rigging information you can simply check not to include it. Force 5 can be used for any size of vessel, commercial or leisure.

We have thoroughly tested Force 5 and it comes with a comprehensive User’s Manual. Therefore, we do not expect a great number of calls for personal system support.
